That is one of the best sculptures I have seen especially of Thor. Will there ever be a painted version to be posted or that something you stay away from? I just cant believe how smooth it all is and detailed aswell. I cant even do that with plasticine. lol

Hi Sarkazum,

Thanks for the compliments! This piece was sold as a pre-painted statue, produced by a company called Diamond Select Toys. I don't know if it's available anymore but they pop up on Ebay a lot. He was sculpted in a wax material called Castilene.

Thanks very much! I usually don't post painted images of my own work, but this particular piece was released as a pre-painted statue by a collectible company and painted images can indeed be found around the net. The official title of the statue was "1602 Thor", it was adapted from a comic series by Neil Gaiman called "1602".
